Animals

But it's a matter for the RSPCA,
This keeping of the dogs in their cages.
This keeping of the bears out of their natural habitats.
This throwing of the bones to no one.

It's reprehensible, sickening behaviour.
To watch feral cats scratching at locked doors
And kittens hungrily padding against empty teats.

Flightless birds restlessly shitting on cars
While insects swarm the bathrooms at night.
Everyone clawing for a second opportunity.

It's a matter for the RSPCA,
Or some other respectable society.
An authority to monitor and punish for offense.
The dirty urges of instinctive animals.
